I have two different problems which I've seen posted on here before but no answer was ever posted. The first problem is that when a video is loaded on the server side (RTMP with a FLV) the video plays but no handle is available for seeking. The second problem is that MP4 videos will not play over RTMP. Here is a sample that demonstrates the problem of both. http://ds3.rndlab.addusa.com/utils/video.aspx Any help any one could provide would be greatly appreciated. David

As for the handel - its probably a skin problem. MP4 not working over RMTP is probably a bug - should be looked into. http://www.aspnetmedia.com

Hi Jake,
Thanks for the quick reply. I've used several skins from flvskins (the site you mention in your documentation) and none of them seem to display a handle. Could you please point me in the right direction for a skin that the handle would work.

What happens when you use the default skin(s) built into our control? http://www.aspnetmedia.com

Hi Jake,
I finally got to test it with the default skin, and still no handles. You can take a look at the site I provided previously.

It's been about 2 weeks since I posted my last response about even the default/internal skin not having handles. Any idea why this is? I really need to get this working this week.

It seems that this is just the behaviour of the FLV player. I'm sorry that the Handles are not present as expected.. We will look into a solution....but a fix is unlikely to come quickly to be honest. Looks like it relates to the Adobe Flash FLV playback technology its self. The Javascript API can be used to more the play-head forth and back..... but i know thats no consolation. My humblest apologies. http://www.aspnetmedia.com
