Hi,
According Jake's post (http://www.aspnetmedia.com/forum/aspnetmedia_Default.aspx?g=posts&t=799), ASPNetFlashVideo support (newly) mp4 and RTMP protocol.
My application already works with a 'standard' flash player under Server 2008, .Net 3.5 and I use Flash Media Server 3.5.1 for streaming (RTMPE protocol but can be RTMP) and I use Flash plug-in 10 on my PC.

I tried your ASPNetFlashVideo with those results:
HTTP/flv : OK
HTTP/mp4 : OK after a long buffering (probably downloaded localy)
RTMP(E)/flv : OK
RTMP(E)/mp4 : NOT OK

How can I get it works with my configuration?

Other question, have you planed to support xspf playlist without parsing it?
It's probably better to post it in 'feature requests'...

Thanks!
Jake

Not sure - we will investigate this - but it sounds like it wont be an instant fix!

Hi Jake,
OK, I just wanted to know if have done it before, and if your player supports MP4 streaming via RTMP(E).
Probably it won't be a HotFix, but a real great improvement!

Wow! It sounds amazing that nobody is interested in mp4 with flash player... or I missed something!
My topic is already dead :(

Is it possible to know if the asp.net Flash Video team will do something with mp4 in the future (test/implementation)???

Mp4 is already implemented in the flash plug-in (9.0.115.0) since december 2007!

Regards
Jake

MP4 playback is supported in the current version of ASPNetFlashVideo....
Is it not working over HTTP.... Are you certain you have the latest release?

RTMP with MP4 - if thats not working - we will look into it - but we havent done anything to block this posabilty.
